Institutional Mythology

Institutional mythology means the perception of institutions as infallible, effective and essential. This is the myth perpetuated by the institutions themselves and their back-scratching mutual portrayal of institutional prowess. Institutions always advance and never retreat. They are locked in a natural conflict of interest that demands the accumulation of power and the relentless release of propaganda to justify their existence.

Institutional Anarchism demands institutional accountability and the perpetual scrutiny of institutional objectives and efficiency. More often than not this should include the complete dismantling of obsolete, bloated and ineffective institutions. There is no better example of institutional obsolescence than the Federal Reserve. The FED is not only archaic and irrelevant but it has become the primary co-conspirator in the greatest orchestrated act of larceny in the history of the world. It is a weapon of mass destruction that has been replicated globally and now tetters on the edge of a colossal meltdown.

Religion is almost too obvious to mention but remains the most potent influencer of human endeavor. This is a bizarre and tragic distraction of human potential that deserves every ounce of demystification that can be brought to bear.

In the U.S. Capitalism, democracy, mass media, military industrial complex, incarceration industrial complex, war on drugs, police militarization, surveillance industrial complex, academic hubris, technology hubris, health care and government labor monopolies are all worthy targets for objective scrutiny and wholesale dismantling. Taxation is the favorite son of self-serving  institutions, the less transparency the better. Intractable, indecipherable and politically entrenched taxation provides the fuel that feeds institutional perpetuity.

The distance from accountability is proportional to the grip of kleptocracy.
